				What is Jesus in the City? In 1992 the Leaders of many Churches in Worcester received the assurance that God had confirmed by His Spirit, that JESUS IN THE CITY was a banner under which He would bring blessing to our City. Who are the participants? We are a fellowship of churches, congregations and Christian agencies. Our desire is to work together in the unity of the Holy Spirit bringing honour to the Lord Jesus. “When Jesus entered a city He met people at their point of need, in suffering, sorrow and sin”. What is our basis of faith? We adhere to the Basis of Faith of the Evangelical Alliance. “Jesus in the City” is a member of EA’s Christian Action Network. What is our aim? One heart to honour The Lord Jesus; One heart to bless each other; One heart of compassion for the City of Worcester.
